Music performed by Oslo Sinfonietta, Backbeat Percussion Ensemble, Lore Lixenberg, Decho Ensemble and others in the UK, Norway, and the USA, including performances on BBC Radio 3 and NRK, and at festivals including Ultima and NuMusic. Member of the Norwegian Society of Composers. Research published in Music Analysis, Music & Letters and in edited collections on the music of Ligeti and topics that intersect aesthetics, music analysis, cultural studies, music history and critical musicology. Book (monograph) on Ligeti’s Le Grand Macabre is published by Routledge. Guitarist (BMus), classical, folk music and jazz, and hobby Dobro player.
